The Addressing Domestic Violence Course is a scenario-based course designed to help attorneys, judges, law enforcement, and others understand how to better navigate the procedural obstacles involved in addressing domestic violence. Because protection orders have proven to be an effective means of addressing domestic violence, and because federal law mandates full faith and credit for protection orders, they will be a primary element of this course.
